Hooray, it works and Topic: what to do when your child wants a puppy?

Today was the first day I could get this blog to work as a page in my website, so I'm really excited!

Today on my way home from work, my 4 year old daughter tearfully explained that she needed a puppy, one that she can care for, teach to do an obstacle course, etc. I explained that we weren't ready for the responsibility of a new pet, and reminded her of how special our 12 year old dog Mike was! "But I can't train him to do any tricks!" she told me... I deferred the conversation until I got home, and we discussed it more in depth. I explained the time commitment and that we would not have the time needed to care properly for a puppy. I was able to distract her but wonder what else I can say to strengthen my case. Any suggestions? She is very good about feeding and watering this dog, and is kind and gentle with him. But a puppy, boy that is something I cannot handle now!

Agree that the basic supplies are great. Brown Stairs, Pink Tower, Etc.

Check out www.montessoribuy.com for great prices and good quality. I ordered items and was really happy with them!

Your blog is lovely and serve a great purpose for Montessori education. However, i notice that there aren't any Montessori products or exercises, where people can learn or purchase from. May i recommend http://www.montessori-book.com, a site that explains all Montessori exercises for those interested to teach young children. As for products, you may like to check out http://www.bambini-montessori.com, a site that offers many affordable Montessori materials.

Your blog is great!I am a Montessori Educator AMI(3-6) Certified London UK.I have a couple of questions.

1. Is there a distance learning 0-3 Infant Toddler Course that you can recommend?

2.Do you know of any furniture supplier that can make and ship low beds for babies and infants?

I would be honest. Tell her that she is an excellent caretaker of your current but that you are not ready to take on a puppy. Let her know when it is the right time for the family, a puppy can be considered.
